Milestones allow you to separate a project into distinct segments. They are indicators of progress, intended to set realistic goals.

Milestone Templates

Repeatable projects have similar milestones. The template view provides powerful features for developing these repeatable processes. You can create milestones that carry into your distinct project.

• Milestones do not currently carry over into your projects and locations. This feature will be implemented very soon.

• Milestones must be defined during task creation; the weight cannot be modified after creating them; this will patched very soon.

Before a template can be used, it must be locked. Before locking, you need to make sure you have the following:

• All milestone tasks have a weight associated with it.

• The sum of the weights for each tasklist add up to exactly 100%.

• The project and location templates include at least one milestone task.
