Accounts

An account describes a new client in the FEDS system.

To create a new account:

  1. Click on the Accounts tab.

  2. Click the New Account button.

  3. Fill the details for the account, including the contact person.

  4. Click the Create button.

Account Fields

Format

Name

The name of the account. This is generally the name of the client/organization.

Text – between 5 and 100 characters long.

Contact Person

The contact person's full name.

Text – between 5 and 100 characters long.

Phone (Contact Person)

The contact person's work number.

Text – between 10 and 20 characters long. Possible Formats.

Email (Contact Person)

The contact person's work email.

Email Address

Account Status

The working status of the account.

Account Type

The category the client belongs to.

Industry

The industry that the client operates in.

Text – between 5 and 100 characters long.

Region/Territory

The region/state/city/country that the client operates in.

Text – between 5 and 100 characters long.

Account Manager

The name of the account's manager.

Text – between 5 and 100 characters long.

Contract Start Date

The date that the contract with the client begins.

Contract End Date

The date that the contract with the client ends.

Date

Accounts also track the creator and editors of the account, along with the dates that they are modified.
